Hi and welcome to my blog!
My name is, as you might have guessed, Anastasia. I am an early career researcher and a lecturer at the Oslo School of Management, where I started working two years ago after competing the PhD in Affiliate Marketing Performance Measurement at Oxford Brookes University, United Kingdom.
My research interests are broadly in marketing and tourism. Some specific topics I teach and research are digital marketing and media, including affiliate, SEO, paid advertising, mobile, viral, and the use of ICT in travel and tourism. Some of the other areas that interest me are place branding, services management and research methods such as grounded theory, action research, eye-tracking and other methods. A little more about my professional development can be found on LinkedIn.
My ambition with this blog is to share some of the projects I am working on with my colleagues around the world, comment on some current digital issues that I find interesting and share updates from the many Internet marketing conferences I attend every year. I also hope to disseminate some of the insights that I accumulate from academic sources in a more accessible language.
If you find any of the content on this blog useful, please feel free to use and share it. And please do get in touch if there is anything you would like to discuss or do together.
